Proseduuri was originally founded with the concept of “customer-oriented solutions.” This was twenty years ago. In the early 2000s, all kinds of web solutions, intranets/extranets were a big deal. We built them for both small and large companies. The challenges were quite similar in both cases – streamline internal business processes with smooth information exchange and an easy channel for paying customers to make purchases. This was a time when online stores were just emerging and smartphones were just coming into use. So, there was no idea about fancy mobile apps and the flood of information that is nowadays coming from every direction.
Even then, our passion was to create excellent ERP solutions for our Finnish industrial customers. We made a lot of different ERP solutions and a lot of different interfaces. The purpose of these interfaces was, of course, to streamline the company’s processes. The amount of data is constantly increasing as automation is developed and different systems collect information. Digitalisation, automation and new technologies are indeed topical today. Every company is probably thinking about the optimal management system. It should be based on the entire organization’s operations and the metrics that support it and ultimately the company’s strategy. All sales organizations know the sales pipeline and how important it is to measure the activity of each salesperson from lead to sale. The same, of course, applies to other activities, for example, when the industry is industrial, commercial and logistics. An online store order is immediately visible on the warehouse picking list (on screen), the office sees in real time when the warehouse delivers and consignment notes are created, invoices nicely go out to the world. No unnecessary button presses. Simple and easy operation. The customer specifically marveled that they didn’t understand beforehand how wonderfully things could work.
